Message from President

Name of “Incorporated Engineer” is getting popular in Sri Lanka rapidly since ECSL was formed three years back. It is an internationally protected title. Hence I would like to invite those who are eligible to get the membership of Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka (IIESL) to get registered without further delay.

When you become an Incorporated Engineer (IEng), it demonstrates International recognition of your professional competence and commitment. Further, you have had your competence independently assessed, your credentials verified, and have made a commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

With the statistics published recently Engineering is held in high regard by the public compared to other professions. It arises from the accepted realisation that technology has a significant and rapidly increasing influence on the evolution of society.

Knowledge is power, but it is not always what you know, it’s how you use it, Incorporated Engineers are professional engineers who maintain, manage and apply current and developing technology.

I would like to invite all engineering practitioners scattered throughout the country who have not yet obtained the membership of IIESL) which is the gateway to register them as Incorporated Engineers in the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka (ECSL).
